GUIDELINES FOR LEAVE

• It is compulsory for the students of sub junior wing (LKG-Std II) to have 80% of the attendance and the students of Std III onwards to have 90% of attendance in the academic session to make them eligible to appear in the SA- I & SA - II exams.
• If a student is absent from school continuously for 10 days without prior, proper intimation to the school, his/her name will be struck off from the attendance register. In such a case, re-admission has to be taken on the payment of Rs. 500.
• Parents should fill up the record of Non-attendance when the student is absent from the school, stating the reason for absence and sign.
• Grant of leave for going out of station will be at the discretion of the Principal.
• Leave/Absence from school during session will not be entertained. Therefore, parents are advised to refrain from making any request for leave.
• If a student is absent during test or examination, be it for any reason, no retest or re-examination will be held.
• Parents/Guardians of the student will be informed on phone, in case of any serious illness and the parents have to make necessary arrangement. The student is not allowed to go by 1st trip in any case.
• Students should be sent to school only when he/she physically fit and is in a position to continue till the classes are over to avoid inconvenience of calling the parents to take the child back home.
• No parents should send any application through the students asking for early dispersal, in case of any emergency the parents should come to pick up their children or send a peron with an authorization letter to pick their ward up.
• Application for absence or leave should always be addressed to the Principal through the class teacher and must be submitted a day in advance, countersigned by parents/ guardians and the Wing Coordinator
• It is recommended not to ask for leave for your child, for social functions like marriage/religious rites/rituals and so on when the session is on.
